Branson Area Features

Branson Fun for Couples

  By: Ladona Weathers

If you’re visiting Branson with someone special to reconnect, relax and unwind, you’ve come to the right place. There are great options to get away from the ordinary and enjoy unique experiences as a couple in Branson.

Unwinding is often easier said than done. However, a visit to one of Branson’s spas will have you feeling refreshed in no time. You’ll find several day spas around Branson that offer massages, facials, pedicures and more. The front desk at most hotels will have a list of options near where you’re staying. For a full spa experience, you have two very luxurious options: Chateau on the Lake and Big Cedar Lodge both offer spas with a long menu of treatment options, along with saunas and hot tubs for day-users to enjoy. Plus, both Chateau on the Lake and Big Cedar Lodge offer views you can only find in the Ozark Mountains.

Fine Dining

Romantic dinner locations, gourmet chef-created dishes, quiet ambiance, stunning views… just a few of the characteristics offered by the area’s fine dining restaurants. Level 2 Steakhouse located inside the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is a Branson original. Everything on their menu—from steaks to seafood—is amazing. From the modern decor and quiet ambiance to the outstanding service, this is a great option for a romantic or special vacation dinner. Another unique touch is that you choose your knife, from several options, for your meal. After you’ve visited a few times you even get your own knife bearing your name, which is kept for your future visits.

Take in stunning Table Rock Lake views at the Chateau Grill at Chateau on the Lake. Their gourmet menu pairs perfectly with a glass of wine on their deck overlooking the lake. Request a reservation for sunset and be ready to feel your cares just slip away as you enjoy a perfectly prepared steak or seafood entrée in one of Branson’s most romantic settings.

If enjoying stunning views while treating yourself to a great meal is your idea of heaven, head south a few miles to Top of the Rock. Top of the Rock offers several dining options, all with fabulous views of the Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake. We suggest planning a leisurely evening here, so you can enjoy cocktails or a cup of coffee outside on their patio. During cooler seasons, cozy up near one of their many outdoor fireplaces and watch the sunset.

It wouldn’t be Branson if we didn’t talk about a great option to enjoy dinner with a show. The Showboat Branson Belle gives you the opportunity to enjoy stunning Ozarks scenery, a delicious dinner, and an entertaining show. For an extra-special experience, upgrade to the Captain’s Club, where you’ll have VIP seating and various menu choices to enjoy for dinner.

Experiences for Couples

Whether it’s your first time in Branson or one of many, there are some experiences that we bet you haven’t tried before. What better way to connect as a couple then by sharing something new? It’s no secret that the scenery around Branson is breathtaking, but have you experienced it thousands of feet in the air? Chopper Charters offers helicopter tours of the area. They’ll show you the lakes, Table Rock Dam, and a bird’s-eye view of the city.

Wine lovers will be pleased to discover that Branson is home to several wineries. Curling Vine Winery offers wine tours and tastings along with bottling demonstrations. At Mount Pleasant Winery, you can step into their tasting room or learn even more about wine during their Wine 101 class. St. James Winery is the newest addition to Branson’s wine offerings. Here you can enjoy tastings, an outdoor patio or a delicious meal in their restaurant. Lindwedel Winery is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the breathtaking rolling hills from the back deck. Crown Valley is a great stop for couples that want to taste more than wine. They also offer beers, ciders, and spirits made right here in Missouri.

If you’d like to do a little wine tasting but leave the driving to someone else, treat yourself to a total VIP experience with VIP Tours of Branson. Their wine tour takes you around in a luxurious Mercedes coach to multiple tasting locations and wineries in Branson. Plus, you’re treated to a delicious dinner overlooking Lake Taneycomo.

Whether it’s a quick getaway or a romantic vacation celebrating a special occasion, Branson has great options for couples to reconnect, relax and unwind. From delicious food to great entertainment and new experiences, you can find it all here in Branson.
