Carve Tahoe 
9am-7pm. Join them for an international snow sculpture celebration! Come watch the carvers sculpt, followed by rounds of spectator judging and the Carve Awards Ceremony on February 2. Carve Tahoe is a weeklong international snow sculpture event where teams transform snow into breathtaking masterpieces. And this is no amateur hour; the teams competing are the best of the best, selected from applications sent in from all over the world.  The Village at Northstar. 800-GO-NORTH

Last Tracks 
This event occurs every Saturday. Last Tracks Intermediate and Advanced skiers and riders can take the last chairlift up to the mid-mountain Snowflake Lodge and enjoy wine tasting and appetizers before skiing or snowboarding down a freshly groomed run at sunset. Reservations recommended. Pick up your ticket at Guest Services at 2pm and get on the chair by 4pm as Last Tracks begins at 4:10pm. For ages 21 and up.  Diamond Peak Ski Resort. 775-832-1177
