Lakewood Camping Resort is a family campground. It's a place of beauty, harmony and one of the most tranquil atmospheres you will ever find! What seemed the impossible dream became a remarkable accomplishment in 1959 when Carl and Marion Perry developed Camp Beachwood, a tiny, 125-site campground.
Eventually that investment lead the Perrys to open Lakewood Camping Resort. Lakewood was the first oceanfront campground on the south end of the Grand Strand. It was the only resort of its kind offering customers a resort experience for only a fraction of the price of staying in a hotel. |
