Off NC Rte. 12 in Corolla, 3rd or 4th left after the 11-mile marker in Corolla

Climb the 214 stairs of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and see the Outer Banks from the top of the 162-ft. redbrick tower. Admission (cash and checks) used for historic restoration – $7; kids 7 and under free. Open daily Easter through Thanksgiving. Open 9-5 and until 8pm on Wed. & Thurs. during summer.
